O’Reilly Health & Safety Consulting is led by Yvonne O’Reilly. She is a highly skilled provider of occupational health and safety (OHS) consultancy services, and has achieved the Canadian Registered Safety Professional designation. O’Reilly Health & Safety Consulting provides a variety of services including compliance audits, the development of written OHS programs, and facilitation of senior management, supervisor, employee and committee level training programs. Yvonne’s diverse professional experience includes having represented the constructor/prime contractor on a multi-billion dollar construction project, and establishing an OHS practice within two national law firms.

Bio: Yvonne O’Reilly

I am an occupational health & safety (OHS) professional dedicated to making all workplaces healthier and safer. As owner of O’Reilly Health & Safety Consulting, my mission is to help employers manage their risk. I am also an instructor for the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies OHS course. Over my career I have gained extensive experience conducting compliance audits, creating/reviewing written OHS programs, and developing training programs. My professional experience includes representing the constructor/prime contractor on a multi-billion dollar construction project, and establishing an OHS practice within two national law firms. I’ve been very fortunate to have facilitated training & conference presentations from coast to coast, and am still working on my goal to work in each of the three territories. In 2014 O’Reilly Health & Safety Consulting celebrated 10 years, and relocated to Stratford Ontario. My commitment to OHS has led me to be involved in a number of volunteer roles, and national conferences:

  • Governor – Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP), 2010-2015

O’Reilly Health & Safety Consulting is led by Yvonne O’Reilly. Yvonne utilizes her experience to assist employers to evaluate and improve their occupational health and safety (OHS) program.  Employers from such diverse industries as financial institutions, oil & gas, manufacturing and construction have benefited from the training and consulting services provided.

Yvonne’s diverse professional experience includes a multi-billion dollar construction project as well as establishing an OHS practice within two national law firms.  Her  extensive knowledge of legislation and comprehensive audit skills, coupled with her engaging presentation style, have provided value to employers across Canada.

Yvonne works with the OHS legislation from every Canadian jurisdiction – including developing or reviewing programs for employers who are governed by more than one provincial OHS regulator. Clients are consistently impressed with her knowledge of not only the legislation, but her understanding of the regulators’ expectations.
